Hi All,

We have been asked to lay on a clout session so, this Thursday from 6:30-Dark we will be laying the field out and shooting some clout. Come and have a go if you fancy.

DCA Junior Coaching Session

Hi All DCA Juniors, we are holding a junior coaching session on the 28th April 11am-1pm for anyone interested. We can cover anything you feel you would like help or support with including shooting form, equipment, tuning, competition preparation etc. It would be useful (but not essential) to know approx numbers so let either Julie or Paul know if you are interested. Tomorrow, Saturday the 7th of April marks the official start of the DCA outdoor season, dress warm and bring your waterproofs folks, it’s summertime.

End of Season Champs

Well done all those who took part in the Champs, the awards will be presented at our awards evening on the 12th April at the Old Mill, along with other awards, badges and achievements.

Archery, you have always wanted to try it, and now we are going to offer you the opportunity to come down to the club and do just that while raising money for Sport Relief!

On Saturday the 24th come down to the club and get shooting with 1 to 1 tuition from our coaching team and see what archery is all about.

From 1 til 4 we are running a have a go session at the club whilst our intrepid shooting team take part in the 24 hour challenge.

So, why not give yourself a treat and give archery a go, have a cake and a cuppa, and fulfil that childhood Robin Hood fantasy.

This Saturday the 17th 14:00 - Field Captains course.

Paul is going to run an hour session to teach attendees everything about setting up and running a Target Archery Range. A future session is planned to demonstrate Clout layout.

Saturday the 31st 12:00 - End of Season Shoot

DCA members only, our last shoot of the indoor season and your last chance to put in a qualifying score for indoor classifications.

Thursday the 12th of April 19:00 - Presentation Evening at The Old Mill

Come and have a pint and a bite to eat while we award all the members achievements over the indoor season, hand out classification badges, and make bad archery related jokes all night.
