Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place this Saturday 12th January 2019 at 12 noon, to be held in the classrooms above the sports hall.

At the AGM the Committee will also be elected, all positions are open to any member to put themselves forward, so if you want to get more involved in the running of the club, this is a good opportunity. If you do wish to stand for a committee position can you please let the current secretary know before Saturday.

Look forward to seeing you all there.

Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The AGM will take place on Saturday 14th January at 12 noon, in the classroom next to the sports hall.

At the AGM we will be introducing member fees for juniors – at the rate of 25% of the senior fee – so £30 for the year, or £2.50 per month if you pay by Bank standing order.

The new fees will commence on the 1st February 2017

This still represents excellent value.

Date for move Indoor’s

It’s coming up to that time of year already, we will move indoors on Tuesday 13th September, back to Framwellgate School.

So out last and final club session at Houghall will be Saturday 10th September, all shooting after that will be at Framwellgate School.

New Outdoor Venue Required

Some bad new: This will be our last outdoor season at Houghall, we have been informed the land will be given over to grazing and we must vacate the site by the end of September 2016.

If any one knows of a suitable field or has contacts that could assist please could you discuss with someone from the committee.

I’ll keep you posted on developments.

Important Info re access to Houghall.

We have just been informed of the following:

“Please be aware that Burma Road will be closed to vehicle traffic from Monday 11 July. This is to allow the contractors to realign the road to flow into the new agriculture buildings. The closure will be in place for approx. 3 weeks.

Pedestrian access will still be available for movement from the main campus area to the farm/equine area.”

As such you will have to park your cars around the Conference Hall car park, and then carry your gear up to the fields.

Please note this time period covers our WA Competition weekend to be held on Sat & Sun 23rd and 24th July.
